Spirit Airlines was the first airline who took check-in bag fee before that other airlines allow passengers check-in bags for free. All airlines took charges for check bag, only Southwest Airlines allow two check-in bags for free.
Allegiant Air is the Las Vegas-based carrier, which allows four bags per passenger. Each bags weight, not more than 40 pounds and maximum size of 80 linear inches in Height + Width + Length. This New York-based airline baggage fee depends on the type of fare purchased by passengers. For the Blue fare, $20 for the first bag if airline ticket online or at a kiosk, or $25 at the ticket counter. The first bag fee is free in the Blue Plus and the first two bags are free in the Blue Flex. $100 for third bags in all fare classes. $100 each for oversize and overweight bags.

Southwest Airlines allows passengers two check bags free. $75 fee charge each for extra bags and overweight/ oversized bags.
